I was telling my friend during the 3rd period that I hoped the US could somehow make it to OT, because anything can happen in 3 on 3.
Yeah, we were fortunate, but still managed to seal the deal.

USA won and I'm crying. Canada is crying. Sure, USA won and deserved the gold medal. But if you watched the game, Canada played a much better game, yet lost. That's why it was such a heartbreaker for Canada. Hocky is Canadian so get off my lawn (or my ice, to be more precise). BTW, kudos to the American goaltender.

Phenomenal game in every way
Wow - just wow. I am not a puckhead but I have to say that I have never seen a game played so fast. Outrageously intense action that reflected the passion and desire on both sides. Any other day I would be cheering for Canada.
