Olbermann wasn't always this bad
Back in the 1990's, he was a very good sports reporter, and I'd actually regularly watch his show on CNN / SI's channel.
It wasn't until MSNBC gave him what he believed was a position of power, is when he immersed himself into the cesspool of left wing madness.
The funny thing is that for all of its hard left leanings, MSNBC fired him for being too much of a left wing whackjob.
I actually believe that he simply got drunk on what he thought was power, and never came down from that high.

Very funny, did a great job at ESPN. He and Dan Patrick were a great team.
Somehow he morphed into an extremely bitter and angry person.
Keith is about Keith, whose ego has eaten his brain. He says whatever he deems
necessary to get clicks and attention. I believe he's an enabler of hate.

His level of derangement over the years shows he's not thinking straight. Not surprising he used to be a legit member of the media
