Who couldn’t like the guy (other than people who can't find a place to live)?
has been refreshing and I used to be one of the people who thought Kelly was a very good coach. I do not miss him at all. I absolutely love Marcus and though they tied CJ 's hands in the first game last season, they learned quickly and we would have been a threat in the playoffs. A ten game winning streak, which is hard to do, had everyone scared of us. Marcus was able to string two impressive streaks the last two seasons when many or most teams would have quit playing hard after tough losses.

I have not read about, let alone listened to, Brian Kelly since he was fired. If you are reading about it, it's because you choose to do so.

Why are you listening to anything that ahole has to say? No one cares. He's a failure and a laughing stock and everyone knows it, most of all him.

A) Kelly did bring ND back from a consistency perspective. Particularly towards the end of his tenure. He also left as ND's all-time winning-est coach.
B) While I do not buy that he had no intentions of leaving, I am not going to fault the guy for seeking something different after eleven years. The article seems like it was written by a "gotcha" journalist looking for outrage.
