Tax planning is probably not on the radar for 95% of these kids.
Should it be? Yes. But, more likely kids are happy to get paid. That could change in the future if this doesn’t get curtailed first.

That's fraught with disaster. "NIL money" is not actual NIL money in most cases...and hasn't been...
...since about the second day of this nonsensical "system"...
...and NIL is income anyway and should be taxed.
