Have we had other coaches who were featured in men’s mags? I can’t see it for BK or Lou. But I am not sure.

They think he’s headed to the NFL.

I hope Marcus is leveraging this for endorsements better than energy bars.

They were to play a round of golf at the Schuylkill County Country Club but weather conditions prevented that. Former Phillies Greg Luzinski and John Kruck were also a part of the group. Marcus was in town to help with a fundraiser for Nativity High School.

After he wins it all at ND.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

I know the prevailing opinion is that he will ultimately leave for the NFL, but I don't understand why the NFL would be attractive to him. I suppose money - it would take a huge contract. I assume his contract at ND is among the top in college football.

He has spoken at length about how much he enjoys being a mentor and teacher to college athletes. It is interesting that when he is asked about talking to NFL teams, he always says he used it as a learning experience to understand what it is like to coach in the NFL and how the head coach interacts with the GM and owner. What if he learned that model doesn't appeal to him?

I don't assume he will leave for the NFL.

I think it is more of a “when” instead of an “if” (Plus Black coaches are at a premium in the NFL)

Dennis Green for the Vikings. I agree with Curly that he doesn't belong in NFL - he has absolutely no experience there and his style is perfect for a HC at ND.

I don't see him fitting in there.

He seems to me that he genuinely connects with players and cares about them personally.

That's tough to do in professional sports.

If it happens in that order, I'm ok with it!

Not me I want to win at least three national titles in a row before he even thinks about the NFL.

Hear, Hear!

I want his departure to coincide with 7+ first round draft picks ahead of an obvious rebuilding year after a dynastic run (with a hot shot can't miss OC ready to take on the rebuild)
