For good reason, this draft choice was rated a D by the analysts.

I have always felt you too many underrated Carson Beck. I know the interceptions at key times, but

if you examine his bad plays they were usually when he was under big time duress on 3rd or 4th down when he had to keep a drive going. I thought Beck played well this year despite poor play calling from Cristobal. I thought Marcus' two failures this year was the lack of faith he had in CJ in the first game. and the failure before the half in the Texas A & M game. Remember we finally started moving the ball better when we were forced too against Miami, and that same ability continued throughout the year. In the second game we moved the ball well but frittered away a chance for a sizeable lead at the half. And of course the defense played poorly with a little help from the pooor officiating. The rest of the year Marcus' coaching was outstanding and if given the chances to play who we lost to, I think ND would have won. I feared Texas A&M more than Miami at the end of the year because of A&Ms QB being able to win with his legs and arm. He got banged up in the playoffs when he had a chance to give them a two score lead in their playoff game.

He has a 10 cent head and a noodle arm.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

Beck is simply not a smart individual and playing QB well in the league is about decision making.

Looks fantastic playing against air or Bethune-Cookman.

Feel awful for J. Love.

Love can overcome a lot of things.

Can't overcome his QB throwing the ball to the other team.
