Lighter safeties can play nickelback.

Larger framed safeties can be moved to drop linebacker / rover, like we did with Drue Tranquill. He managed to put on 30 pounds of muscle to become a NFL stalwart, even under the "guidance" of the inept Paul Longo (first three years).
