I'll question the character and fit for ND, because those kids usually don't stick around long. Hopefully he gets his priorities right and makes a decision that's truly the best "fit" for him.

The kid is 18. He is probably torn. Were we all doing exactly what we should have at 18?

And god forbid a kid doesn’t do what his parents want. That never happens.

I don’t think the kid is wrong or ‘bad’ if he chooses Oregon. Would not want to him to do what he is ‘supposed to’ and bolt after 1 year.
