His worst enemy as a coach was himself, since he wasn't exactly well liked by the players (except for Tommy Rees), and wasn't exactly patient or forgiving with them (again, except for Tommy Rees).
That, plus he would happily throw the players under the bus.
Since he has no horses in the race, and isn't trying to impose his will on a football program, he may just succeed. He didn't have all of that success at Cincy and ND by being a complete ignoramus, and if he can simply get out of his purple face favoritism mode, I think he can do decently as a color analyst.

I really enjoyed watching "Inside College Football". The more channels broadcasting college football, the better as far as I'm concerned. Who is replacing Gary Daniels I wonder.

I'll give BK the same chance. There are plenty of others in the broadcast booth and in the media that annoy me for real. Some who pains me to say should know better. Especially after last season's playoff injustice. So now we are in the position of settling for a sports broadcast booth and studio analyst and print media that are the best of the worst.
