I think picking and choosing is more accurate. We get the pick of the litter. Nobody gets them all

But we are definitely not settling

More of a matter of shopping in all aisles

Marcus Freeman is looking everywhere, whether it be gourmet aisle, or bargain bin aisle.

This 2027 class has a lot of blue chip players, but at the same time, the three star players (other than the long snapper) that are coming in are all higher potential guys.

They're the opposite of what Drew Pyne was (peaked as a high school freshman, feasting on weak competition). What we saw with Pyne in 2022 was about as good as he would ever be, and that was also with a high talent supporting cast.

With time, development, and coaching, I think some of those three star guys can elevate their games like previous guys did (like Mike Richardson or Julian Love).

It's not like the Kelly era, where his laziness in recruiting cost us a lot of prime prospects, and he'd fill a good portion of the class with "right kind of guys" who would work as serviceable, but not very good, players.

Well-stated.
