I thought he was going to be a beast (and he still may be), but his relatively quiet spring and the entry of two transfer interior defensive linemen doesn't portend good things. Has anyone heard a credible story about Burgess shining out?
He's at 300 lbs now, and will be in the rotation.

If he's going from edge to interior, he needs to climb over 300.
Fortunately, he's receiving excellent coaching, so I expect to see him in the rotation this season.

Never undestand bulking athletic players. Rarely goes well. CBurgess is a great athlete at his size and has gain the weight nicely. He'll probably slim down to 290 and be a beast on the inside. In a few years when he goes pro he'll be above 300lbs. He don't need to be 300+ right now.
