If so, then it’s really six 5 stars in reality.
I suspect that if he takes care of business as usual for the 2026 season, that he'll get a boost in his rating again, although at this stage, I think that's the last thing on his mind.
One way or the other, it's actually very welcoming to see our high talent QB commits wanting to reclassify. Jarrard and Monds both doing that makes me think that we have the right guys in the coaching staff (Denbrock, Guidugli).
During the Kelly era, I don't think there were any highly rated QB's willing to do so. The possibility of a big time name like JT Daniels did with USC, reclassifying, didn't happen with us.
If anything, the only big time QB willing to reclassify for Kelly was while he was at LSU (Colin Hurley), and that didn't exactly go over very well.

The reason why his rating got knocked down after reclassifying, was that he had missed a good chunk of his sophomore year due to two injuries.
His ankle injury in the summer of 2025 kept him out for almost three months, and he had a bit of a shoulder injury (non-throwing arm) in the later part.
He still managed some nice numbers in just four games, and looked like there were no lingering effects from those injuries.
His being so highly rated was mostly based off his freshman year, where he put on a very impressive display, including effortlessly tossing 60 yard bombs, while being patient in the pocket.

Well done!
Will post a round up of all the new pages in a bit.
I said it before, that the three star guys we have in the fold (except for the long snapper) aren't the type of players who maxed out in middle or high school, that they're more of raw prospects with high upside.
Those guys wouldn't have those very good offer lists if they were thought of as maxed out prospects.
Addendum: Jackson Hill's offer list isn't as good, but I trust Coach Rudolph's evaluation of talent. ESPN has him updated as a 4 star, and now at 6' 7", 300 lbs.
