I know it’s the first game but if our offense and defense look anemic I can see a meltdown
Freeman has said leave no doubt so many times. We have had slow starts almost every year.
All the talent in the world won’t matter if we cannot identify our weaknesses and improve them. That’s why have coaches to make sure these things are not an issue if we play a shit 1st half u have to wonder if the words are just words with no effort to improve on past failures.
So to me the first game is Very telling. We may not play like a number 1 team but we are NOT in a position to not show up week 1 and hope for significant improvement on our early season woes. I have heard enough of the mantra, I need to see it happen early in the season
