You can read the rest of the linked Canadian government announcement, which includes a statement on hand guns...as a reference for how to write an even stronger "Brady Bill" which was enacted here in the USA.

Fewer guns leads to fewer gun deaths...works like a charm everywhere else...what's holding a great country like ours back?
