But I suspect you value diversity over and above societal unity. Do you support country quotas, so that immigrants come from all countries, not just from a few countries? Would you restrict Mexicans so we can get more Pakistanies, more Yemenis, and people from other cultures who do not necessarily share our values?...so that the US becomes more diverse than it is? Would you use immigration to enable individuals to come here to succeed, or as a tool to change American society?

I also suspect that you look at disperate outcomes as evidence that we don't have equality of opportunity. Would you, for example, lower educational standards to achieve a more equal racial outcome (even though educational failures have nothing to do with race)? I suspect you would.
