If you want me to put a finer point on this, I can do that. It's amazing what towns the size of Birmingham, Jackson, Nawlins, Omaha, Fargo can do the gun deaths per 100,000 in less populated red states.
Anyone here can attest that I love to delve into the stats on this. Sadly, you folks go scurrying away each time. One of the things I particularly love is to take a single year snapshot and run something like this: "Well, small, rural towns X and Z had a murder rate way above Philly's this year!" Then someone takes the time to research it and find that neither of those towns had any murders for a decade or more. Totally honest reporting, yes?
