After some consideration, In the interest of finding common ground, I must admit that I was pleased, yet also still very amused, that you decided to display outrage and seeming disgust at a particular passage by reposting a quote you attributed to me, “Get your heads out of your ass, [Democrats]. You are the clear and present danger.” as proof you have now gained some keen insight based on your statement.

Here is what you wrote:

I guess I gave you too much credit. I felt that most posters would have noticed the quotation marks and realized that quote did not originate from me, but from a poster a few threads down. It is amusing with your citing history that you missed that one which was from Conorlarkin only a few posts below. Finally, a cite unseen.

My retort was based on what Conorlarkin wrote, “Get your heads out of your ass, Republicans. You are the clear and present danger.” And, unfortunately, this ““Freudian slip” clarifying my political pedigree that bears remembering” is something being experienced by many on the left in this country, including luminaries like Bill Maher, who have voiced concerns of seeing no resemblance between the traditional Democratic Party and the left leaning liberal of today.

There used to be a choice between Right and Left, now there seems to be a choice between Right and Crazy.
