The new generation was already rising. This is a long war. One side won't stop.
All Israel can do is fight them continuously. You can't turn the other cheek when your attackers are filming themselves joyfully torturing and killing children in their homes.
Give it another 100 or so years, and the Muslims might get tired of the violence like the Irish finally did.
