"Fair Enough" concurrence...btw, that study used very rigorous "Difference in Difference" analysis methodology to substantiate their findings, which would apply to any locality in the world with humans in it. Note that virtually any hospital on this planet you go to during a COVID-19 outbreak will require staff and patients to wear masks, so it makes some sense to me that they work...even Baron would wear them...or be let go. I still can't understand why he doesn't get the concept of "Mitigation" during an airborne pathogen pandemic...Weird.
If you'd like to get deeper into the "Difference in Difference" methodology, read the following paper...no need to get in the weeds, though...just read the section above the first diagram.

As for that well-beaten dead horse, HCQ...
>The issue was settled months before I joined the OF
>Dr. Risch's own superiors and peers...with expertise in virology and Infectious Diseases, that Dr. R didn't have... wrote a letter, publicly refuting everything he said...again, before I joined the OF
>My own family Infectious Disease and Pulmonary/Critical Care ('ICU') Docs advised me that HCQ was considered "A Joke"...
>Dr. Risch did not perform any studies involving HCQ...he simply wrote an Opinion Piece...and the studies that were done were proven faulty and inconsequential, meaning that Dr. R used poor judgement in picking them...again, this is before I joined the OF
>Unlike 'Paxlovid' No RCT studies were performed for HCQ, which is critical given the hundreds of millions of people who would be given such a treatment...that is the petitioner's responsibility...not the FDA's...
Since all of this transpired prior to my joining the OF, my sole purpose has been to explain to every one, including you, WHY it was not approved...and with all the evidence against Dr. Risch's paper that's been published, and available...some of which provided by me...there's no need to read his paper, other than to prolong your hope that someone might agree with you...a worthless task. But, I like you too, and hope some day you'll learn from this experience. I know I have.
