Stupid People...that's your concoction. Also, we have one left leaning person involved in a murder, but thousands of Trump followers who stormed our Capitol on Jan. 6th causing great harm to over a hundred police officers...plus one of the rioters losing her life...not counting the potential damage and future loss of life to millions should they have succeeded...all because they were not smart enough to discern they were lied to by Trump.

As regards Cipolla, he wrote about 'Stupid People' in 1976...so given that Bonhoeffer was executed on Hitler's orders in 1945, it's possible and likely that he was influenced by the German Pastor...btw, even J.D. Vance refers to Trump as a 'wannabe' Hitler who is adept at attracting Stupid People to his cause.

As both Bonhoeffer and Cipolla contend, Stupidity is not the sole province of those without adequate intelligence. As I've conveyed before, Intelligence does not always equate to Wisdom...witness the recent assassin's (Luigi Mangione) stellar education achievements...or Ted Kaczynski's...but they represent a decided minority of rational intellectuals. Therefore, it would be wrong to place one's trust in Stupid People as opposed to Intelligent ones. Therein lies our problem going forward...how to deal with the throngs of MAGAs who continually make horrible decisions, and follow a horrible man.

Now you are IMO above average in intelligence...so are you just "Stupid" in your support of Trump, or a malicious Opportunist...or a Libertarian caught up in your misguided and poorly informed bubble?
