I have experienced this firsthand. Once they realize that they cannot reshape their culture and government, they leave in anger and frustration. Florida isn't going to change anytime soon or distant, first and foremost because the policies are working. That's what the average voter cares about. You may have some insulated harbors for leftist moonbats in the state, and most red states do, but they remain outliers.
The other thing to do to ensure that you don't see a sea change is simple and something all of us can do: encourage young men to vote. The data seems to be clear on this. They have an unusually negative view of the Democratic Party, and I think the biggest reason is the stuff I've harped on here for the better part of a decade. The Dems somehow managed to become "The Man," and young men just naturally tend to hate "The Man."
