The JCPOA "bargain" itself was laughable: Iran continues enrichment w sunset clauses on
centrifuges (10 yrs), enrichment levels (15yrs), and stockpiles (15yrs).
And they could steadily work toward their goal of nuclear weapons while technically being "in compliance".
Even with this, Iran's cooperation with the IAEA was "not ideal" such that the IAEA could not certify that they were in full compliance.
JCPOA ensured Iran a slow, steady path to nuclear weapons past Obama's term. It also funded them with their pallets of cash release of bank account funds frozen because of terrorist activity.
It is quite misleading to claim "they kept their end of the bargain". Why wouldn't they?!!! And yet STILL, they didn't which is why the IAEA could never certify them fully.
