impeding mentoring...the COVID induced 'Work from Home' approach plays a big part...the downtown office is virtually empty, and no amount of cajoling will get the Newbies to show up.

Since AI can't think for itself, Accumulated Wisdom and Creativity lie fallow...to the detriment of emerging practitioners and the field itself.

As an Engineer, long ago I learned that even graduate degrees aren't enough to prepare you for excellence...hard work and collaboration with others are essential.
