in a coup in Kiev. I don't think Putin cares who's in the White House. He's been clear that if we continue to press for control of the Ukraine he will destroy the country. Like it or not, the Crimea was part of Russia but for a ceremonial gesture by Nikita Khrushchev in the 1950's. Furthermore, I don't see any President being able to garner the popular support needed to get into a war with Russia. I'm not sure it's wise to get into a showdown with another nuclear power.
