penalty. You need a refresher course on the Rules of Golf...especially Rule 8.1...'You cannot bend or break branches, press down turf, move sand or physically improve your lie, stance or swing. Doing so results in a two-stroke penalty in Stroke Play or Loss of Hole in Match Play'...

It's a slam dunk breach of the rules.

As for the time it took...Bryson's objections are the reason.
