A very cynical move - the GOP attached voter ID to that bill

Knowing that doing so would make Democrats vote against it…and they could say that they wanted to stop insider trading by Congress.

Knowing that it would kill the bill.

So they had no interest in stopping it.

They thought people would be too stupid to see that. In your case, they were right.
