AI Giants with a massive, high-performance frontier-class model kimi k3.

Take ChatGPT latest version 5.5 as an example to compare. Except the speed Kimi K3 is at same level as ChatGPT 5.5 or even better on basically all the benchmarks. The overall (aggregate) intelligence of Kimi K3 is better than ChatGPT because its reasoning and math abilities which has always been strength of Chinese AI models (another one is deepseek) and its excellence at processing extremely large documents. ChatGPT is faster than Kimi K3 a little bit. But in most cases and for most users, they prefer features over speed in their applications.

The most important factor is the cost. API pricing of kimi k3 is much much cheaper than ChatGPT 5.5.
