inappropriate, but also rude and boorish to go down that road. The fact of the matter is that you tried to do just that and while guessing accurately that my wife and I didn't attend Mass on Sunday...you...without any thought whatsoever, tried to accuse me of not meeting your standards of "Faithfulness"...when the truth was that we stayed home so that my wife wouldn't further injure what turned out to be a hairline fracture, and I could allow her to rest that foot and take care of things that she would normally attend to at home. Instead of going to Mass, we took the time to watch Fr. Brendan's streamed Homily, which turned out to be the first time either of us had heard that interpretation of the "Loaves and Fishes" Gospel. It struck us as being much more relevant and 'Actionable' to our everyday lives than just hearing a repeat of a 'Miracle' and thinking nothing more of it. Turns out Fr. B's rendition is shared by many other 'Modernist' members of the RCC...as opposed to more Conservative (Traditionalist) members...,so, I thought I'd share it here on the OF to get some hopefully honest and thoughtful comments from at least a few reasoned posters. A 'risky' task, but what the heck...Sadly, you took it as a personal attack opportunity. Hopefully, you'll learn from this episode and think more...with less (none?) anger before posting. Hope springs Eternal...
