This is key and will be spun by those with political motives:

AT THE TIME Fauci was voicing his concerns privately about risks that had not yet been adequately studied, he was telling the public that there was no red flags about taking the vaccine in pregnancy. And he and others following him unilaterally decided to gamble and implement a policy without adequate research to confirm the vaccines safety in pregnancy....while they privately expressed concern about miscarriages.
When you know that there is a potential risk, but you have no evidence to reassure that that it is safe, you wait for evidence before telling the public that there is no risk. ESPECIALLY when the WHO has already expressed this risk and advised against using the vaccine in pregnancy without further study.
The WHO at the time specifically recommended that pregnant women NOT get Moderna vaccine.
Fauci overruled that caution without evidence to do so yet.
Instead of waiting for scientific evidence of safety, Fauci flipped the scenario to push the vaccine until there was evidence of it being dangerous.
It is leading congress to wonder about this NEJM study which came out later that year which had data suggesting a risk that had it's numbers misinterpreted to say that the vaccine was safe....until the doctor wrote in and called the NEJM out. One has to wonder if the PTB's were thinking "Oh shit!" when this first came out. They were banking on the safety, this study showed otherwise when its' data was properly evaluated (which I suspect that it was - how could it not be really?). Then conveniently, the data gets spun around to support the argument.

It really has nothing to do with what was finally the case, it was what they knew at that time and how they acted upon that knowledge. That is what congress is looking at now.
Any spin about what is now known about the vaccine deflects from the fact that Fauci was playing God without people's permission.
The correct response at that time would have been that there isn't enough data to know for sure about whether the risks to pregnancy are real or not, and thus we are going along with the WHO to suggest that pregnant women avoid the vaccine in early pregnancy until we can collect the data....they didn't do that. They lied about no red flags regardless of whether those flags ended up being a real problem or not.
