Sovereignty and trades are not incompatible. Trades have existed for thousands years.

Modern globalization’s financial integration, multinational supply chains and global institutions DO violate nation’s sovereignty. Some benefits from this violation. Some don’t. Inequality may get improved globally. But it gets widened domestically in U.S., which gave rise to democratic socialism of America.
