I still prefer the old one Bowl Game for each team, no playoffs, and let the sportswriters pick the #1 team.

And yes, college basketball and college football is a money driven minor league to the NBA and NFL.

So, perhaps I am clinging to the college sports platform of the 1970s and 1980s.

But, this seems like the last line in the sand being stripped away.
