That makes zero sense. No police officer panics from that. He reacted to the threat of a mob he could hear and see behind a locked door with a window breaking into a hallway where members of Congress were evacuating. She was leading that mob into the hallway. She knew he was there and had a gun. She climbed through the window anyhow. Who the F does something like that? The other officers who had been there were the real problem in leaving their positions at the door after reinforcements got there but before they were in place.
