Let's hope that the "powers that be" don't wait to take action until the BP estimate is at 20 years.

the situation is becoming quite clear...there's only one way this 'Status Quo' is leading us..and that's to energy shortages, if we stay on fossil fuels only...don't get me wrong, we'll always need them, but for other uses beside heating and transportation (e.g. plastics and clothing, to name a couple)...we need to shift as quickly as is humanly possible (Politics, Economic Changes...you name it...) onto Nuclear and Renewable energy sources for heating, lighting, transportation....

That's pro-active protection for our progeny...to do nothing, other than the status quo is, for want of a better term..."Negligent".
