rate by making the spread last longer, but also making its intensity weaker, so called "flatten the curve", i.e. lower the height of spread curve vertically but extend the curve horizontally. It's a trade-off strategy for the purpose not to overwhelm our medical system and not to run out of our hospital beds in a very short time. But this strategy never is intended to stop spread and it can't stop the spread. Actually it makes the spread last longer with weaker intensity. It's just basic 101 knowledge. It has been 2 months since coronavirus outbreak. It's amazing you and your fellows on this thread don't even know this basic knowledge but call others who understand lockdown strategy but disagree with it moron. You should feel ashamed.

The only way to stop the spread without vaccine is you go out and become immune to the virus. Actually most people are immune to this virus as Diamond Princess has shown, 80% people are immune to the virus, 20% are infected. But among this 20% infected, 80% of them are mild and recovered well.
