Couple of things. If it’s trial and error, I err on the side of safety.

It’s not trial and error to know that we just couldn’t resume our normal lives after lockdown with this thing still out there. If one is too stupid to know that, again it can’t be fixed. You need to be smart and take precautions. If not, it’s on you.
