That was a Trump like statement.

"Shoot to kill"...that's kind of stupid, actually. He should know that cops never legitimately shoot to kill. They shoot to stop an action from ocurring. An action can stop (i) when the perp dies, but it can also stop (ii) when the perp is incapacitated, or (iii) when the perp is persuaded to stop by bullets being fired at him. Police should never be told to shoot to kill.
