Are we ready for one payer/medicare for all? Or is this just campaigning fodder?
It's not like we could simply make the switch in an eyeblink. Our present healthcare system is incredibly complex and involves a ton of vested interests. Hillary's plan was so dramatically shut down that Bill immediately transformed himself into a DINO when it came to economic policies. Similarly Obama plans were half assed and are on life support today. Meanwhile, the rhetoric is still passionate but no one has advanced a comprehensive proposal... just because it would be too easy to attack. But we shall endure the political posturing that shall accomplish nothing.
