Also, Biden only sent blankets with Putin's last invasion into the country.
You can't change history by simply stating a falsehood with false bravado.
We all watched. Biden said that he would be willing to tolerate a "minor incursion" from Putin into Ukraine. The debate afterwards centered around why he had made this critical gaffe. The prevailing belief is that this was the idea of tolerating a minor incursion would be tolerated if Putin invaded, and Biden heard that since he was at the meeting. But with his early, but progressive dementia, he blabbed it out on the world news much to everyone's horror.
Further Chris, Biden's words over several weeks were undermined by his prior actions....and they don't matter when your most recent words are that you'll tolerate a "minor incursion" with troops amassed at the border.
It looks like he changed his mind and was giving Putin a message not to "overdo it". Putin invaded very shortly thereafter.
