the context of borders inexplicably opened by Biden and the Dems without any vetting - even during COVID, and even in opposition to your own party leader's previous historical position on border policy.

You have looked for every possible reason to deny the patently obvious.
The Dems were flooding the country with illegal immigrants for several clear advantages:
1) Illegals still count toward census counts for adding delegate counts.
2) They can be enrolled at local levels - particularly in party controlled states while their ballots can be harvested for illegal voting - particularly in key areas within those party controlled states to further eliminate Republican representation in districts with narrow margins
3) The big plan - granting amnesty when the Dems next have full control of the WH, House, and Senate.
Now, more and more evidence is found of this cheating by the feds, and suddenly. the govt that was beyond reproach and any question under your party president cannot be trusted at any level under the president of the other party.
