Envy is one of the 7 deadly sins. A political policy driven by envy will end in repressive violence

The fundamental issue is the public sector devouring the funds for investment in the future. There is no future in Europe with all investment funds being spent on retirement benefits for people who have lived decades longer than expected when the retirement regime was dreamt up. The young shall become even more disillusioned when the left can also do nothing for them. The next phase will be a brutal autocracy by either the left or the right. This appears to be our fate eventually as well.
