Standard D Stevens won 49.5% of D primary vote endorses R Rogers-El Sayed too radical for her..video
Stevens, who has a lot of jewish community support in Detroit, asked El Sayed to take back some of his comments which she felt to be anti semitic.
El Sayed told her he wouldn't take anything back and to stay away from his campaign (she had previously been asked to endorse him at a Detroit church service today).
Stevens felt it was finally time to cut bait with the radical DSA candidate. Some think she committed political suicide, but if El Sayed wins, she was probably already cut out for her support of the jewish community.
