The "2024 Bipartisan Senate Border Security and Immigration Bill" was a mass amnesty bill. Any Republicans who help pass a bill that codifies and rewards lawlessness can kiss their political careers goodbye. It's a good bet that James Lankford will be successfully primaried when he's up for reelection in 2028, since he was the GOP point man in the Senate for that amnesty bill.
