People who were exposed to coronavirus and infected asymptomatically and recovered but weren't tested yet are not included in the death rate statistics being reported contemporaneously.. The dilution effect of this phenomenon would have on the death rate (it would lower the rate) also has a "lag time" and does not show up until far down the road when all data in large amounts can be fully coalesced, and it occurs in the opposite direction statsitically to the phenomenon that your article mentions about contemporaneous death rate reporting during first outbreak data collection.
Thus, your article selectively mentions just one side of the phenomenon that really has two sides. They mention only the side that worsens the picture.
Thus, it is intentionally or ignorantly reported news from the MSM once again, but given their past history, it is dafe to say that it is the former.
As to the hospitals being swamped, 75% of Texas admissions are due to nonCoVID build up of other medical issues which have built up on back log due to the supposed cure (shut down).
Skewed news and half truths are FAKE NEWS.
PS - Stop pretending to be smarter or "more sane" than those on the other side - it isn't true.
