acquire different infections and die. To be sure, some would be alive. But only a partisan hack would think Trump could avoid all deaths.

Trump has done fairly well overall. The travel ban to China was key, the ventilators were key, the FDA approval process hastening was key.

I would point out that his opponent was arguing against the significance of coronavirus as well as against the need for travel bans until almost 8 weeks after Trump.

This is a novel situation, but taking politics out of it, Trump has done pretty well. He certainly has it right trying to get people back to work now seeing this data. Meanwhile, Biden said he would be willing to shut things down again.
