see the vile treatment of the children they love dearly, it just breaks your heart. And makes you extremely angry.
When I was about 6 years old, I said something hurtful to a cousin with DS. When I heard his Mother's reaction, I suddenly understood. It stuck with me. To this day, I feel ashamed for that comment.
I don't believe illusions because too much is for real.
