Here's one...I do a lot of Interstate driving and have a car with "Adaptive Cruise Control" that

keeps me a certain distance behind the car in front of me...I like to set it to ~2 sec. Now I also like to travel in the left lane at a speed that's faster than most, but still doesn't 'trigger' a response from the Highway Patrol...Ok, scene set...I'm cruising along with a solid line of cars ahead, as far as you can see...I'm keeping my 2 sec. distance...but somehow, the car behind me cannot fathom why I'm not on the other guy's bumper, so he jumps at the first opportunity to pass me on the right and save himself another 2 sec.

In past years I'd have been 'miffed', but now my attitude is one in which it comes as no surprise and I actually make sure he can cut in safely (tap the break if necessary) and resume my 2 sec gap. It's still annoying (disappointing) to see.
