Point taken. But then there is the folly of voting against a personality.

There are voters who thought that Trump was so mean that they were willing to take jobs away from middle America, and put the U.S. at a disadvantage with China, just to get a personality out of office.

My question is, what is more mean spirited? Tweeting bad stuff? Or giving two weeks notice to Joe Lineworker, and letting him go home to his two kids without a job, just because you can't stand having mean and crass Trump as president? That latter seems far more mean spirited to me.
