Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.

          • if you can’t hit a curveball, catch a pass across the middle or make a jump shot. People who play - WestCoastIrishFan - 10:31pm 11/22/20

                • Exactly the problem with US soccer. It's child like. [NT] - NDavenue - 12:12am 11/23/20

            • Man you hit the nail on the head. I had to take soccer in gym at ND when I was there. I played - THEISMANCARR - 11:11pm 11/22/20

              • The US would dominate int'l soccer if our best athletes played it instead of foot/base/basket ball. [NT] - NedoftheHill - 11:47pm 11/22/20
                • Lol. That's funny. They would still suck. [NT] - NDavenue - 12:02am 11/23/20
                  • No basis to believe that. If our best athletes played soccer from day one, we would dominate. - NedoftheHill - 3:28am 11/23/20
                    • I just don’t see it. There is much more to it than being a good athlete. Same in any sport. - NDavenue - 4:23am 11/23/20
                      • Sounds like we might actually agree here. - NedoftheHill - 5:37am 11/23/20
                        • Ahh. Yeah, I think we agree for the most part. One other thing... - NDavenue - 12:47pm 11/23/20
                  • Exactly. Our team is plenty athletic. Only the African nations may be better there. - Frank L - 12:04am 11/23/20

                      • That’s a better point. Best athletes many times aren’t best players. [NT] - Frank L - 4:28am 11/23/20
                    • Yep. And "Best Athletes" doesn't even necessarily describe the NFL or NBA. - NDavenue - 12:10am 11/23/20
                      • B.S. Imagine our wide receivers, cornerbacks, with serious foot skills. Again, we'd dominate. - NedoftheHill - 3:31am 11/23/20
                      • Some of them could be inside or outside backs were you need more athleticism and less skill. [NT] - Frank L - 12:24am 11/23/20
                        • Maybe. But, there is little substitute for soccer intelligence. - NDavenue - 12:52am 11/23/20
                          • By a very small group of people who don't really know the sport. - NedoftheHill - 3:33am 11/23/20
