As higher primates our brains evolved based on instincts and emotions and only as hominids did we begin to layer on a little rationalization capacity in our frontal lobes late in our evolution.
It takes a lot of therapy and meditation to work past the primitive prejudices in our minds and see things more objectively.
It's like being a football fan... the other side is hated, refs are prejudiced, the coach is an idiot and the QB a doofus when we lose, and recruits who reject us in favor of Alabama are obviously academically impoverished.
For some, Trump will always be an evil monster rather that being a human being who suffers from a personality disorder but who nonetheless can make great decisions for the benefit of the country. For others he is a savior worthy of canonization, notwithstanding his crude, rude, insensitive speech and behavior.
BUT... all this is mire than manifest by the comments in the threads on our wonderful site of Domers and wannabe Domers.
