Damn - RIP Dolly

The story of her saying 'no' to Tom Parker is legendary. Later on when she was told that Whitney Houston was going to record 'I Will Always Love You', she said she was thrilled because she knew Whitney would crush it and that it would make her a lot of money. 'I was right on both counts', was her reaction.

A true American legend.

'I define fear as standing across from Joe Louis and knowing he wants to go home early.' - Max Baer
